Elevate Dairy was represented at AgriFutures evokeAG., Asia Pacific’s premier agrifood innovation event, which brings together leaders and change makers from agriculture, food manufacturing, research, innovation, investment and policy.
The event provides a unique cross sector and international platform to build connections across the agricultural value chain, with a strong focus on resilience, productivity and profitability.
Donna Gibson, Jolien Paalman and Ming Fung Chua attended on behalf of Elevate Dairy, engaging with leading AgTech innovators, producers, investors and industry leaders from Australia and around the world.
Across the program, a clear theme emerged. Australian farmers continue to demonstrate ingenuity and resilience. There is strong appetite to innovate and a willingness to adopt new technologies where there is confidence in the pathway to implementation.
At the same time, conversations reinforced the importance of structured support to move innovation beyond concept and pilot stage. Continuous innovation requires more than great ideas. It requires strong connections, commercial validation and practical on farm testing.
This is where Elevate Dairy plays an important role, helping connect proven technologies with real on farm challenges and supporting adoption in a commercially grounded way.
While in Gippsland, Jolien and Ming also visited Agriculture Victoria’s Ellinbank SmartFarm, Australia’s leading dairy innovation facility. The visit highlighted research spanning multispecies pastures, methane reduction, heat stress mitigation and animal sensor technologies, all aimed at delivering measurable returns for Australian dairy farmers.
The visit to evokeAG. and Ellinbank reinforced the strength of Australia’s agrifood innovation ecosystem and the importance of ensuring those innovations have a clear pathway to adoption within dairy.
Elevate Dairy will continue to build on these connections, supporting the ongoing cycle of innovation and implementation across Victorian dairy regions.
